Denver – No Worries
The American Phychological Association recently released a report on the most and least stressful places to live in America. The results were determined by factoring a number of different components. Murder Rates, Robberies, Unemployment, Income Growth, Poverty Levels, Days of Sunshine, Climate and a host of other factors to rate the best and the worst places to live when considering your health, happiness and overall well being.
Taking the coveted title as #1 most stressful place to live in America was Detroit. Unfortunately they are taking the worst hit in terms of unemplyment at 7.2%, worst murder rate, incident of heart attack, nutrition, etc. Generally a really rough time for Detroit right now. Following in a close second is the stress inducing Cleveland Ohio. Take a look at the remaining finalists:
- Detroit
- Cleveland
- St Louis
- Riverside-San Bernardino California
- Los Angeles
- Chicago
- Memphis
- New York City
- Philadelphia
- Atlanta
And now the good places to live. #1 was the care free city of Virginia Beach. This beautiful ocean side oasis has minimal crime, murders, robberies, air pollution, heart attack rates, etc. Generally its a nice safe place to live where the people are friendly and the lifestyle is good. Making it’s way to #7 on the list was good old Denver Colorado. Life is good here at a Mile High. It’s sunny and nice most of the year, crime is low, unemployment is way down, our transportation systems work well, the highways never get too congested, people are friendly, heath conscience, fit and so much more. See below for the list of best places to live in the country.
