CultureHaus is a great non-profit organization that supports the Denver Art Museum (DAM) by hosting events and promoting exhibits.  One of the biggest events they host is CultureHaus Bash, and this year’s is shaping up to be the party of the year.  Check out the event details below:

CultureHaus Bash – Summer of Love

Join CultureHaus members and friends at our annual BASH on June 25, at the Denver Art Museum. Embrace your inner hippie and celebrate the Summer of Love while viewing the groovy exhibition The Psychedelic Experience: Rock Posters from the San Francisco Bay Area 1965-71.

Dress in ’60s attire, view the exhibition with curator Darrin Alfred, and enjoy complimentary beverages and appetizers – all while grooving to the sounds of the ’60s. Exhibition-related prizes will be given out to the best ’60s outfits, including a limited-edition exhibition poster.

Tickets are only $10 for CH members (limit 2 per member) and $20 for friends.  After June 21, tickets will be $15 and $25. Purchase tickets for CultureHaus Bash here and enter event code: CHBASH.

Complimentary light appetizers, beer, wine, and two specialty drinks (electric koolaid and purple haze) will be provided. All CultureHaus members will receive a goody bag as a special thank you for your membership along with having a chance to win some great donated items.

Darrin Alfred, AIGA Associate Curator of Graphic Design, curated the exhibition. The Psychedelic Experience: Rock Posters from the San Francisco Bay Area, 1965-71, which was organized by the Denver Art Museum. Support is provided by Accenture, the Denver Art Museum’s Technology Partner. Additional funding is provided by Avanade Inc., the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, and the generous donors to the Annual Fund Leadership Campaign.
