Built in 1889 this 10 unit loft building is located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver at 999 e 22nd ave. An old Methodist Episcopal church that once was the tallest building in Denver closed its doors in 1975. The 1885 stone building trimmed in red sandstone stood empty for several years until it opened as Sanctuary Lofts Denver. Architect Norman Cable, who lives in the neighborhood, proposed converting the church into 12 Sanctuary Lofts Denver for Sale, incorporating the building’s giant stained-glass windows and high ceilings into the design. He took the plan to a local developer, who bought the church and he spent more than $2 million on the renovation and produced Sanctuary Lofts Denver Real Estate.
